LCL is looking for a Client Services Coordinator with an inexhaustible can-do attitude to work in our Mississauga office who wants to enhance his/her client services skills and truly enjoys communicating with clients about services, administration and sales. As Lewer's Client Services Coordinator, you will serve as primary contact for plan administrators, plan members, service providers, and partnered brokers as well as support sales staff with the preparation of proposals, presentations and reports. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Primary contact for plan administrators, plan members, service providers and partnered brokers to assist with administration, claims and coverage type questions
  • Support Sales staff with the preparation of proposals, presentations and reports
  • Process health, dental, life and disability claims internally and with service providers
  • Process plan member enrollments, changes and terminations using internal software and directly with service providers
  • Work with insurance and service providers to process claims
  • Follow, update and improve the process guides
  • Update and maintain Client Portal
  • Maintain the activity log in the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) system, electronic filing of documents on the company’s server and CRM. Set up and maintain hard copy files as required.
  • Receive mail and courier deliveries
  • Prepare client correspondence
  • Prepare and send monthly client invoicing, including outbound messaging
  • Coordinate with Lewer US for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including bank deposits
  • Coordinate reports for client renewals and financial reviews
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings
  • Advise management on opportunities to improve services and processes
  • Coordinate, manage and assist in special projects
  • Recognize and implement opportunities to improve client services and products/services offered (Kaizen)
  • Assist in new business sales initiatives
  • Assist in implementation of new sales into client management software programs (CMR)
  • Prepare plan member documents
  • Peform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years related experience in office administration
  • Proven ability to learn new software and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client-centric attitude a must
  • Group benefit experience is an asset
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, discretion and independence
  • Strong fluency in English with excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • French is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
