LewerMark is an innovative and focused health insurance company developing customized plans for international students coming to the United States as well as study abroad students from American institutions.If you are results-driven with thorough understanding and experience working in the American Higher Education sector, we'd like to meet you!  LewerMark is looking for a dynamic professional with a passion for meeting people and growing business as our new Higher Education Relationship Manager - West Coast.


Essential Job Functions:
  • Sell the LewerMark student insurance portfolio to K-12 and collegiate institutions hosting international students
  • Develop annual sales plan to include the following:  60% of work duties include sales travel to potential clients during selling season (October to April) including attendance at relevant NAFSA regional conferences, as well as industry specific, local, and state level functions
  • Identify, monitor and evaluate competition in comparison to LewerMark and its plans
  • Communicate and track prospecting and sales activity using CRM on a weekly basis
  • Participate in LewerMark training sessions on a periodic basis
  • Effectively transition new accounts to program management team
  • Develop proficiency in the Sandler selling system
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and experience in a sales and/or marketing related field
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector; on campus involvement during a degree program considered positively
  • Willingness to obtain Health and Life insurance license
  • Knowledge of developing sales plans or recruitment goals
  • Able to demonstrate professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to secure, arrange, and facilitate meetings with potential clients
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with HubSpot or other prospect management (CRM) tools
  • Demonstrate a positive public speaking presence
  • Travel to California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and potentially Hawaii required
