We are looking for a motivated producer for NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT to fill our Group Benefits Consultant role in our Laval office. Competitive compensation package and great work environment.

We are looking for a motivated producer for NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT to fill our Group Benefits Consultant role in our Laval office. Competitive compensation package and great work environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Market and sell to assigned list of affinity group prospective clients, as well as through own network
- Use social media marketing and in-person networking to reach CEOs, business owners and HR Managers to determine benefits programs that best suit their employees
- Document client and prospect interactions in the required CRM software platform(s) and pipeline report
- Develop insurance proposals, deliver sales presentations and close sales and assist with implementation and on-boarding of new business
- Meet new business production goals and objectives including efficient lead qualification and maintaining a proficient close ratio
- Develop client accounts and business alliances
- Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Oversee the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and affinity markets distribution
- Take a lead role in managing and servicing an assigned book of clients
- Preserve Lewer Canada's existing business relationships and income
- Advise clients with regards to administration, modifications, underwriting and financial questions regarding their group insurance plan
- Proactively contact all assigned clients mid-year and annually at renewal to provide an update on claims status, customer service, plan enhancements or individual insurance needs
- Present renewals and respond to related client questions and requests
- Apply outstanding service to a loyal client base
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Three (3) years sales experience in selling Group Benefits and/or Individual Insurance
- AMF Certificate-Insurance of persons and Group insurance of persons
- Strong interpersonal sales and customer service skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Systems and CRM System
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in French with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing & Sales, or related field a plus
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
