Description

Lewer Canada, Ltd. (LCL) provides client-focused solutions through a portfolio of employee benefits programs, financial services products and advising, and Third Party Administration of employee benefit programs for small business owners.

LCL is looking for a skilled individual with three years experience in group claims administration with a client-centric attitude to work in our Laval, Quebec office.  The incumbent will be primary contact for plan administration, plan members, service providers and partnered brokers to assist with administration, claims and coverage type questions.  As Lewer's Client Services Coordinator you will support the daily operations of the office. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Apply outstanding customer service to a loyal client base
  • Process health, dental, life and disability claims internally
  • Process plan enrollments, changes and terminations using internal software and directly with service providers
  • Assist in the implementation and production of new groups, including plan member booklets and cards
  • Prepare monthly invoices and reports
  • Support sales staff with preparation of proposals and presentations 
  • Receive mail and courier deliveries
  • Advise management on opportunities to improve services and processes
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years related experience in office administration
  • Proven ability to learn new software and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Group benefit experience and claims adjudication is a strong asset
  • Fluency in English and French with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment, initiative and discretion
